Year 12 have completed three packed days of fieldwork. On Monday students studied the glaciated environments in the Yorkshire Moors, the Vale of Pickering and the Yorkshire Wolds.
Tuesday, we visited Scarborough and collected fieldwork data on the Changing place, using a range of data, including GIS mapping.
Wednesday, students celebrated National Forest Day by investigating water and carbon cycles in Dalby Forest.
A fantastic time was had by all. The staff at the Cranedale Centre mentioned on numerous occasions how polite and thoughtful the students were. Well done to all Y12 Geographers for making this such a positive and memorable experience.
