Year 13 enjoyed a brilliant final day in Iceland! We visited the Fridheimar Greenhouses and saw how geothermal energy is used grow tomatoes in cold, dark Iceland and saw the energy being created at Hellisheidi geothermal power plant. We took a walk around the volcanic crater, Kerid  and the last stop was the perfect end to the trip, crossing the Bridge Across the Continents in the windiest and snowiest conditions of the weekend!
