Paired reading, Pen Pal letters and pensioner postcards of kindness with Galanos House!

Our Sixth form Wellbeing Team of students continue to spend time reading online with a resident, Robert at Galanos House. Two of our students also have written a lovely letter to their ‘pen pal’ and they are thrilled to have received a reply today! We are hoping Covid restrictions will eventually be removed to allow them to meet in person in the coming months- we really value the importance of human connection and communication with the local community in the wellbeing team! We will also be sending some postcards of kindness in the coming weeks. Well done for your efforts team!
