CPS West Midlands will be running two different work experience programmes, a Legal Programme and an Operational Development Programme.

The Legal Programme will be run over two days and we will run this programme on the following dates:

1 – Tuesday 22 & Wednesday 23 June 2021

2 – Wednesday 6 & Thursday 7 July 2021

3 – Monday 19 & Tuesday 20 July 2021

The sessions will run as follows:

Day 1

10:00 – 11:00 – Introduction by a Senior Leader

11:00 – 12:00 – The Code for Crown Prosecutors

13:30 – 15:30 – Magistrates’ Court (Interactive Case Study)

Day 2

10:00 – 12:00 – Crown Court (Continue with Interactive Case Study)

13:30 -15:00 – Careers and Q&A session

The Operational Development Programme will be run over two day and we will run the programme on the following dates:

1-      Tuesday 29 & Wednesday 30 June 2021

2-      Wednesday 15 & Thursday 16 July 2021

3-      Tuesday 20 & Wednesday 21 July 2021

Day 1

09:30 – 10:30  Introduction by a Senior Leader

10:30 – 12:00 Roles within the CPS

13:30 – 15:00 Magistrates Court (Interactive Case Study)

Day 2

10:00 – 12:00 Crown Court (continue with interactive case study)

13:30 – 15:00 Careers and Q&A Panel
