We’ve had a successful first day on our first ever Spanish Exchange.
The students have sampled some Spanish cuisine with their host families; paella and tortilla to name but a few of the foods sampled. Ben has integrated himself well with José and some of the other Spanish boys and Ryan has communicated through the universal language of videogames.
This afternoon we enjoyed a visit to a local olive oil factory where we learned about its production. We ended the visit with a “merienda” of olive oil and bread.
